Emily and Family – and most of all Kara!
I just wanted to say thank you for inviting me to the Day of Karing! I am overjoyed to take part in this very special day! And I also wanted to say thank you because I didn’t know that Kara had a website! I spent hours reading everyone’s messages on the message board. I think I went through every emotion a person could have as well as a box of tissues! Moving my parents out of my childhood home dislodged a ton of old memories; it was a night that I laughed and cried myself to sleep. Over the years I have lost touch with several things which were near and dear to my heart — high school friends and my religion, just to name a few. In the past several months I have been on a mission to regain my strength in religion. I feel whole again knowing I have God on my side. Funny enough, Facebook has helped me reconnect with old friends! I am forever grateful of FB — I lost touch with some of the best friends a girl could have growing up! Over the years I have thought of Kara and wondered where she would be today — traveling the world and sharing her strong spirit wherever she goes! I guess you can say she is doing just that — and she doesn’t have to pay for airfare:) I was thinking of “Where Will All the Flowers Go”” the other day and It always brings a smile to my face because I always think of Jenny
