I so clearly remember 16 years ago- I was an LIT at Camp Stella Maris, you and Paresi were our counselors. With no tv and a curfew, I couldn\’t watch the 1996 women\’s gymnastics team finals. We were all sleeping in the back dorms when you burst through the door yelling, waking us up to re-enact Kerri Strug\’s vault to secure the United States team gold. It was an amazing moment for US gymnastics and you knew I wouldn\’t want to miss it. The US women did it again tonight, they were fantastic. I don\’t know if you would have been able to reenact any of the vaults but I know you would have been cheering them on with me. Thanks for the moment, and the reminder that you are present in my life at all different moments. I love you, Kara, and every day I miss you.
