Kara’s Spirit

It has been almost a year since we lost Kara and I have been thinking a lot about how many wonderful stories have been shared. The most common theme in these stories, not surprisingly, has been Kara’s playful (and yes, sometimes mischievous) spirit. I wanted to share a quote that I think embodies how each of us should live by Kara’s example. “Your absence goes through me like thread through a needle; everything I do is stitched with your color.” My thoughts and prayers are with each of you in the difficult weeks ahead. -Kelly
